Marine Laminate – IMO Certified

LiteCore can provide many types of laminates. All marine laminates are IMO-approved and fall under the HPL category.
The HPL laminate is a reliable, comprehensive product that is:
– Highly versatile
– High impact and scratch resistance
– Retains its appearance even in heavy duty applications
Standard laminates at LiteCore are Formica and Abet. We also provide others upon customer request.

Steel and Aluminium

Steel and aluminium are very popular surface choices in offshore and marine industries.
We offer galvanised and stainless steel in a standard thickness of 0.7 mm.
Aluminium offers advantages in situations where weight is a crucial factor.
Aluminium surfaces are anodised using chromium. A thin, airtight oxide layer then prevents oxygen from reaching the underlying metal.
PVC-Covered Steel Surfaces – Fire-classified Dobel

LiteCore offers PVC-coated steel in standard Dobel colours from our supplier Metalcolour. All PVC surfaces comply with IMO requirements.
The fire-classified Dobel coating is approved under M.E.D. (Europe) through Bureau Veritas and by several leading classification societies, including DNV, USCG, and Lloyd’s Register.
PVC can be applied on galvanised steel at 0.5–0.7 mm, and on aluminium at 0.7 mm thickness.
